The Finnish classic Motocross season ended yesterday at Hyvinkää and our rider and ambassador in Finland, Tuire Aho, updated us with some pics from the weekend and the lowdown on her rides, in her best "Finglish" as she puts it!!
"So the season ended yesterday at Hyvinkää, where we traditionally have a Scramble & Trial "showrun" at old MX GP-track. The 2 day event starts with trial and enduro on Sat and the Scramble is held on Sunday. The mx-track is used once a year for this and occasionally for some other events. The last GP was ridden there at 1986. Nice event, that gathers together everybody with love for old bikes and also people who have race memories – a change to have a good look back on time on that track.
My mx season ended but I still have few races with my Enduro bike. Overall I was 4th (and only woman) at my class in Finnish Cup. Pretty good result after a season full of technical difficulties and some injuries. The Twinshock Championship- serie was huge dissapointment: I gathered points from just one moto. But maybe this season just made me stronger :)"
